Atlas of Ruins Vol.2

So this is my first successful publication in Atlas of Ruins Vol. 2. The photograph shows Iriški Venac, the TV tower that was struck during the NATO air campaign in 1999.

My first time in Serbia was while visiting friends. The trip was short and chaotic, but it left me wanting something more serious. At that time, I was shooting exclusively on film. I packed my M42 kit and went without overthinking it.

There was no plan. My friend John was simply showing me the best spots. After we had explored all of Belgrade, we went to visit another friend in Novi Sad. On the way there, on Fruška Gora, is where Iriški Venac is located.

I am sharing photographs from that journey and finally committing to reviewing the archive from my third trip to Serbia. I have a large number of photographs that have never been published. Now I have the motivation to change that.
